HealthCare Cleaning Leadership Workshops were held in 4 Australian cities
The Interclean Group were proud to sponsor the iClean Conference interactive networking workshops for leading Environmental Services & Healthcare Cleaning Managers in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney from February 27 to March 2.
Bill Bassett, Managing Director at The Interclean Group, shared his insights from international travel and his work with the Clean Hospitals Group in Geneva on how the healthcare cleaning industry is fairing in other countries. Looking at many of the healthcare facilities he has visited over the last year, he used one of the best Hospitals in Abu Dhabi (UAE) as an example showing how they were able to retain their cleaning teams and execute high quality and hygienic cleaning outcomes, and what we can learn from their experiences.
Delegates were shown how they can be using technology across their facilities to help measure and manage their cleaning teams and outcomes, and workshopped their ideas and needs in the round table discussions.
The last session of the day focused on how to set up a best practice cleaning system ensuring cleaning teams had the right equipment and information on hand to set their days up for success, leading to greater levels of infection control and higher standards of cleaning.
